Initiated as an invited design competition, this project grew out of the client’s need to consolidate its operations and strengthen its presence and commitment to the city and region at-large. It is a mixed use addition to the corporate headquarters and includes a four deck parking garage, retail and office space. The design’s inspiration originated from the local historic fabric. The use of brick, limestone and copper were in keeping with the surrounding materials seen throughout the downtown area.
